Quality Control Inspector+

Responsibilities
Maintains quality standards by approving incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products; recording quality results.

Duties/Task
  • Performs inspection of various operations activities
  • Completes documentation necessary to attest to satisfactory completion of inspection.
  • Performed First Article inspection for new order 100% Inspection of all Dimensions, Profiles and Documentation.
  • Perform in-process and Final dimensional inspection as per SOP on API and Premium Threads

Skills and Qualifications
  • Candidate should possess at least Secondary Education and/or relevant trade certificates.

Quality Assurance Specialist+

Responsibilities
The primary responsibility of the Quality Assurance / Quality Control (QA/QC) Specialist is to be responsible for quality assurance management for capital projects to ensure compliance to essential deliverable requirements.

Duties/Task
  • Devising and establishing company's quality procedures, standards and specifications
  • Reviewing customer requirements and making sure they are met.
  • Working with procurement to establish quality requirements from external suppliers.
  • Setting standards for quality as well as health and safety.
  • Making sure that manufacturing or production processes meet international and national standards.
  • Looking at ways to reduce waste and increase efficiency.
  • Defining quality procedures in conjunction with operating staff.
  • Setting up and maintaining controls and documentation procedures and training.
  • Monitoring performance by gathering relevant data and producing statistical reports.

Conventional Lathe Machinist+

Responsibilities
Set up, operate, or tend lathe and turning machines to turn, bore, thread, form, or face metal materials, such asrod, or bar stock.

Duties/Task
  • Inspect sample workpieces to verify conformance with specifications, using instruments such as gauges, micrometers, and dial indicators.
  • Study drawing and job orders for information on specifications and tooling instructions, and to determine material requirements and operational sequences.
  • Adjust machine controls and change tool settings in order to keep dimensions within specified tolerances.
  • Move controls to set cutting speeds and depths and feed rates, and to position tools in relation to workpieces.
  • Start lath or turning machines and observe operations to ensure that specifications are met.
  • Select cutting tools and tooling instructions, according to written specifications or knowledge of metal properties and shop mathematics.
  • Lift metal stock or workpieces manually or using hoists, and position and secure them in machines, using fasteners and hand tools.
  • Position, secure, and align cutting tools in toolholders on machines, using hand tools, and verify their positions with measuring instruments.

CNC Machinist+

Responsibilities
Produces machined parts by programming, setting up, and operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine; maintaining quality and safety standards; keeping records; maintaining equipment and supplies.

Duties/Task
  • Plans machining by studying work orders, engineering plans, materials, specifications, drawings, interpreting geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T).
  • Programs mills and lathes by entering instructions using G-Code, including zero and reference points; setting tool registers, offsets, compensation, and conditional switches; calculating requirements, including basic math, geometry, and trigonometry; proving part programs.
  • Sets-up mills and lathes by installing and adjusting three- and four-jaw chucks, tools, attachments, collets, bushings, cams, gears, stops, and stock pushers; indicating vices; tramming heads.
  • Loads feed mechanism by lifting stock into position.
  • Verifies settings by measuring positions, first-run part, and sample workpieces.
  • Maintains specifications by observing drilling, grooving, and cutting, including turning, facing, knurling and thread chasing operations; taking measurements; detecting malfunctions; troubleshooting processes; adjusting and reprogramming controls; replacing worn tools; adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes.
  • Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
  • Maintains equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; inform for repairs.
  • Maintains continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.

Tool Crib Controller+

Responsibilities
Responsible in general for tool crib. Issues tools, tool holders, supplies, etc. and maintains and/or updates inventory information as required. Assures effective organization, storage, and inventory of all crib materials.

Duties/Task
  • Assembles cutting tooling in CNC tool holders for production machines, boring bars, drills, taps, etc.
  • To request and instruction, or through the use of technical drawings, operation sheets, and tool lists.
  • Issues cutting tools to CNC machinists.
  • Checks returned items for obvious damage or necessary repair or re-sharpening.
  • Notifies supervisor of low tool or supply stocks.
  • Participates in investigations of excessive consumption of supplies, tools, loss of tools, and tool repair costs.
  • Receives packages.
  • Uses a computer to track inventory transactions.
  • Plans stock inventory by checking stock to determine amount available; anticipating needed stock; placing and expediting orders for stock; verifying receipt of stock.
  • Receives, stores, and issues tools, machine tool fixtures.
  • Maintains records of tools issued to employees; takes periodic inventory and requisitions stock as needed; report damaged, worn out or missing equipment using computers to enter transcation, validate information and maintain database.

Skills and Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a CNC environment, tool crib area is preferred
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Able to read calipers
  • Good Communication skills (English required)
  • Computer skills with Excel
  • Knowledge of process related machining and inspection methods, techniques and equipment
  • Strong inventory and planning experience and concepts from algebra and geometry
  • Requires the ability to handle multiple priorities at the same time and the ability to follow through on all tasks assigned
